An American Actor pretends to be a British Actor so he can book American roles as an Actor in America.
Why this film?
I wrote this film because: A) I really thought it was funny how many English actors get really good American roles in the Hollywood system. B) because I was in a rough patch as an actor and tired of not booking any work… so I channeled that frustration into funny and Dodgy was born.
I’m proud of this film. Sincerely, like, very very proud of this film. This is my directorial debut and I could not have done it with any other team than the one I have. Janise, my producing partner was a lifesaver, the cast and their impeccable timing and professionals as actors and comedians. The relentless crew and their steadfast efforts to help me out. It was all the right ingredients.
